Repair Case Using Body Hair
This patient had multiple 'Flaps', Scalp Reductions & Strip Excision procedures. All of which left him with an extremely scarred scalp, very little growth, and a severely depleted donor area. There were plugs and pits at the frontal hairline.
3,000 body hair were placed to reconstruct the frontal hairline and extend back to the mid scalp.
Despite severe scarring, there was good yield and a very pleasing result.
These procedures were performed entirely by Dr Ray Woods.
