The "Low" Hairline
This patient is forty years old and requested infilling of left and right temples, and lowering of the hairline. This can only be done when the following considerations are properly addressed:
1. Age
2. Pre-existing hair texture, density, and distribution
3. Facial shape and bone structure
4. Family history
As a general rule, we reconstruct temporal points if necessary, but do not bring them forward to facilitate a lowered hairline.
This patient had approximately 500 – 600 grafts on each side.
